November and April are both special months in the Stampin’ Up!® calendar as that’s when On Stage is held. The theme for On Stage Live 2016 in Brisbane was ‘Celebrating You’ and it set the tone for what was the best Stampin’ Up! event I have attended. It was wonderful to have so many of my team there and be part of a large group, it was much more fun than ever before.
What is On Stage? – It’s a gathering of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and staff around the world. We craft, talk business, share ideas, celebrate achievements and launch new catalogues. Getting to go to On Stage is definitely one of the best “perks” of being a demonstrator – they’re not open to anyone else! If you’re keen to get to the next one in six months time, talk to me about how! I’d love to have you in my Team and join me at On Stage Local next April in Auckland!
On Stage Perks
As a demonstrator at On Stage we get to see, use and purchase product from the new Occasions Catalogue ahead of other demonstrators. Then as we order more during December we earn an unlimited amount of free Sale-a-Bration product as well! If you want this opportunity too then you can Join Stampin’ Up! now and order the new products from 1 December too!
During the event we saw many presentations of new products and techniques, there is always so much inspiration to be gained from the presentations. I am always blown away by the creativity shown by the demonstrators, and people are so willing to share which is one of the great things about being involved with Stampin’ Up! and whether a customer or demonstrator we are always learning new techniques and tricks.
We also got to use the products ourselves during special Product Suite Presentations. We tried the new Watercolour Pencils, new Framelits and Thinlits new Designer Series Paper and Embellishments. While making these projects we met new people at the tables and big shots and shared a little of our story or just chatted about the event or what we were making.
On Stage – Celebrating You Make and Takes
I love this part of the event, we get to use the brand new products and fall in love with so many must haves for our wish list.
Here are the 4 projects we made during this part of On Stage – Celebrating You
Stampin’ Up! events are always welcoming, professional, educational and fun! It’s great to see ‘old’ friends and meet new ones too! And On Stage – Celebrating You was no exception. I can hardly wait for the next one which is a local event in Auckland in April 2017.
