Embossing Paste Eclectic Layers Card
I had a brainwave when I saw the Eclectic Layers Thinlits and the Embossing Paste. How amazing to have the thinlit shape with the rows of diamonds raised in the paste. I cut out the shape using the thinlit from Window Sheet, this way I can use the same mask over and over.
Here’s the card I created and demonstrated for attendees to make in my June classes.
Beautiful Soft Sky Anniversary Card
This month’s class included this beautiful soft sky anniversary card. This card was cased from Leanne Johnson and the Occasions Catalogue page 50.
The Falling in Love Suite is pretty and elegant and it’s perfect for all marriage related occasions like anniversaries, weddings and engagements. The fonts and images are beautiful and the accessories compliment the suite perfectly. I especially love the doilies because they are Whisper White on one side and Very Vanilla on the other and they can be coloured using ink to any Stampin’ Up! ink colour that you like.
Creative Inkers Annual Stamp Camp
Each year in February we gather in Rotorua for our annual Stamp Camp. It’s a great weekend away from the usual chores to catch up with friends and focus on our love of all things Stampin’ Up!
Over the weekend, we had five product suite presentations, each followed by a project that we were taught how to make using the stamp sets and other products shown in the presentation.
Carousel Birthday Card
Another of the February class projects using watercolour pencils this time with the Carousel Birthday stamp set. I was commissioned to make a card for a young girl using pink and this is what I came up with. The design was cased from Holly Stene in America, I changed the colours, added the scalloped circle, background stamping and sequin trim. I love how it came out.
Beautiful You Watercolour Calendar
Images can speak volumes, this girl from the Beautiful You stamp set looks like she’s dancing or about to perform a cartwheel on the beach. Just the type of uplifting image to see you through the year on a desk calendar. Also the sentiment is a lovely reminder each day to live life to the fullest.
